Beef, Potatoes and Mushroom

This is a a very easy and delicious side dish that anyone can do. It does not have a lot of ingredients either, which makes it perfect for when you are too lazy to go grocery shopping. Let’s cook together and have some fun! 🙂

This recipe makes 1 medium bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb or 500 g Beef Filet
  • 2 medium Russet Potatoes
  • 6 large fresh Mushrooms
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

Making the Beef Potatoes and Mushroom

I started by dicing my beef and peeled potatoes into small cubes (1 cm or 1/4 inch); I then sliced the mushrooms. I fried my potatoes, and kept them aside. I placed my beef cubes in a skillet and I cooked them on medium heat until their water evaporated and they were well cooked. I then added some 1/2 tsp of vegetable oil and added my mushrooms, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. I kept them on medium heat for 3 minutes. I then added the potatoes and cooked everything together for another 3 minutes, then turned off the heat.

I placed them on my serving dish and served hummus, pickles, Jalapeno Peppers and some condiments. This dish can be enjoyed as a side dish or as a main dish.

Enjoy! 🙂
