Honey Mustard is one of my favorite dressing/sauce. I thought that mixing it with some Lemon and Chicken will make a great combination. Believe me, it turned out to be one of the most delicious recipes I ever made 🙂 Let’s cook together and have some fun! 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 Kg or 2 Lbs Chicken Breast
- 200 ml Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cup Corn Starch
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Water
- Black Pepper
- Salt
Making the Lemon Honey Mustard Chicken
I started by cutting my chicken breasts into tall thin slices. I then coated them with corn starch, making sure they are entirely coated from all the sides. I placed my chicken in a large pan with some oil and cooked them until they became slightly brown. Once done, I added the mustard on top and then covered them with water to let the mustard dissolve and combine with the chicken. I then poured in the lemon juice and honey and mixed everything together so that the chicken absorb all the lovely flavors. Finally, I mixed in the heavy cream and let the mixture simmer and thicken.
I tasted the dish for seasoning and added some black pepper and salt. It’s a very easy dish to make, yet it’s full of amazing flavors that I love:) We really enjoyed this dinner with some white rice on the side.
Enjoy!:)
